A Canadian country music and alternative rock band

Cowboy Junkies formed in Toronto in 1985. The band's name was chosen randomly as they approached their first gig. In fact, they are neither cowboys nor junkies.

Their best known album is trinity session, which recorded live on a single microphone at the Church of the Holy Trinity in downtown Toronto. In this album they covered Velvet Underground’s song ‘sweet Jane’. None of the band's successive albums have been hits outside of Canada, although the band has maintained a dedicated following and have continued to have chart hits in Canada.

I think that to most of Koreans they are unfamiliar. But I knew them before I came here.

It’s almost eleven years ago, I saw the movie ‘Natural born killers’ directed by Oliver Stone, scenario by Quentin Tarantino. In the movie Juliet Lewis and Woody Harrelson, they are natural born killers, they killed people without reason. ‘Sweet Jane’ featured in the film.

Actually I bought the OST because of Trent Reznor, who is for Nine inch nails, produced OST

In the OST there are a lot of nice songs, Lenard Cohen, Nine inch nails, Dr. Dre, Patti Smith
